Talent Register purpose

What is the Talent Register? The Child Protection Frontline Talent Register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for full-time and part-time opportunities that are:

* Fixed term/secondment up to twelve (12) months, or
* Transfer at level for existing permanent public sector employees, or
* Permanent

The register is actively monitored by managers to match applicants to available opportunities. You only need to register your interest once, and your application will remain on our jobs register for current and future opportunities. The benefit of applying through one of our talent registers is that you can be appointed directly via a streamlined process as opportunities become available.

Possible roles

* Child Safety Practitioner (CSQ1) — $89,000 - $111,000 per annum. Child Safety Practitioners work with children, young people and families who are vulnerable or in crisis to ensure children are safe and protected from harm.
* Qualification Requirements – Child Safety Practitioner
Under our Child Protection Workforce Model, priority will be given to qualified applicants. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a relevant human services area, apply for the Child Safety Practitioner position. Refer to our website for qualification details.
* Child Safety Officer (CSU 2) – $79,040 - $100,880 per annum. For applicants without relevant qualifications, this is a modified Child Safety Practitioner position.
* Case Support Officer (OOU2) – $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Provides direct support to Child Safety Practitioners by collecting, recording and analysing client information and engaging with children, families and support agencies.
* Family Support Officer (OOU2) – $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Provides supervision and support to families, children and young people to access Department and community resources.
* Administrative Assistant (Level 2) – $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Supports District Office operations and customer service.
* Customer Liaison Officer (Level 2) – $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. First point of contact for community members accessing services.
* Parent Visitor (OOU2) – $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Conducts home and community visits to provide culturally appropriate support to parents and carers.
* Best Beginnings Plus Worker (CSU2) – $79,040 - $100,880 per annum. Provides culturally appropriate parenting skills support to families to promote child safety and wellbeing.
