Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee Corporate & Retail properties at a national client site. You will lead day-to-day operations, manage soft services vendors, and ensure properties are safe, compliant, and optimised for performance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and highly client-focused, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate complex environments. Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of Facilities Management services for Corporate & Retail properties. Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement process improvements. Conduct site inspections, support minor projects, and maintain strong client relationships. Create Work Orders and manage BGIS/Optus platforms and Systems. Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure efficient plant and equipment operation. Education, Experience & Skills Essential: 3–5 years’ experience in facilities management (all levels encouraged to apply). Corporate, retail, and engineering experience advantageous. Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills. Experience in managing teams and vendor relationships. Proficiency in digital FM systems and reporting. Flexible, autonomous, and detail-oriented approach. Supporting team members across the Corporate & Retail portfolios. Desirable: Experience in national or multi-site portfolios. Previous exposure to high-profile or challenging clients. Ability to analyse performance data and prepare client-facing reports. Trade background is preferable. Workplace Flexibility This position is based at our Client’s Macquarie Park office, with free onsite parking and easy access to public transport and local amenities. Hybrid work is available (4 office/sites days, 1 WFH). Travel is required for annual site inspections and occasional ad hoc visits.
