Job Overview
The Superintendent - Civil, Pipeline and Earthworks is responsible for overseeing construction operations and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Construction monitoring and compliance of direct hire and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out as per drawings specifications and standards on schedule and in accordance with ES&H plans quality standards and local national regulatory safety codes.
* Coordinating performance of installation contractors including project status, schedule control, cost management and change management systems.
* Planning craft manpower and interfacing with Industrial Relations for recruitment, hiring and skills training programs.
* Reviewing and approving subcontractor's submittals, technical queries, field change documents and other technical documents including Drawings and As-Builts.
* Maintaining effective relationships with other functional departments and coordinating all jobsite contractual activities.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a recognized degree in an engineering discipline or a minimum of 10 years' experience in civil and concrete works on industrial plants. Additionally, applicants must have at least 15 years of experience in construction projects in a contractor or Project Management Company (PMC) role.
