Job Title: Sales Agronomist
We are seeking a driven Sales Agronomist to fill a key role in our Northern Queensland operations.
About the Role:
* This position involves developing strong relationships with farmers and producers, focusing on broadacre sugar cane cropping.
* The successful candidate will provide agronomic and technical support to clients, sharing knowledge of products, seasonal timings, and general requirements of rural producers.
* Maintaining existing customer relationships and targeting new clients through superior sales and agronomic input is crucial to success.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and coordinating field days and farmer meetings will establish expertise in horticultural agronomic inputs and advice.
To succeed, you will have established yourself as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role, demonstrating an understanding of products, seasonal timings, and general requirements of rural producers.
Key Responsibilities:

A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field is essential, along with experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser.
