About This Role
Join a mission‐driven team creating high‐quality, community‐focused homes that offer long‐term stability for renters. As our Maintenance Officer, you will lead all defect, warranty, and maintenance operations across our growing Victoria Single Family Homes (SFH) portfolio - ensuring every home meets the standards our communities deserve.
A day in the life in this role will include:
* Overseeing the full builder defect reporting process
* Accurately assessing and categorising defects, warranties, and maintenance needs
* Scheduling and managing trades/contractors to complete repairs on time
* Keeping renters, builders, trades/contractors, and internal teams informed with clear updates
* Curating and managing emergency call‐out registersEnsuring all work meets SFH quality and compliance standards
Skills & Experience Required
Success in this role looks like maintenance and defect tasks being completed on time, supported by high‐quality workmanship that requires minimal rework.
Ideally, We Are Seeking Candidates Who Will Have
* Experience in residential maintenance, building defects, or property operations
* Strong coordination and scheduling capabilities
* Competence in digital maintenance/work order systems
* Ability to travel across regional and metropolitan clusters – valid Driver's Licence is a must
* Valid Police Check and unrestricted working rights in Australia
