The Community Reintegration Officer will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of individuals from imprisonment into the community, while prioritizing public safety. This will involve conducting parole suitability assessments, supervising and monitoring high-profile prisoners released on parole, and implementing case management strategies to minimize reoffending.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential escalation behaviors
* Developing and implementing personalized case plans to address client needs
* Collaborating with managerial staff to ensure effective case management practices
* Preparing and presenting detailed reports to the Adult Parole Board
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
* Proven experience in case management and risk assessment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of best practice principles in corrections
Required Skills and Qualifications
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex reports.
