THE FIRM
We are recruiting on behalf of a 100 strong boutique city law firm who specialise across corporate and commercial law, litigation and property. Despite being Melbourne only, they have a national client base and act as trusted advisors to some of Australia's most sophisticated and successful companies, institutions and private groups. This is an opportunity to work within a well-known boutique practice that deals with high-value complex matters and disputes and consult on the same calibre of matters as some of Melbourne's top tier law firms.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support 2 paralegals within the property team. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Diary and email management;
* Preparing and amending legal documents;
* Billing;
* Completing due diligence searches;
* File management; and
* Liaising with clients.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking candidates that have proven experience working as a Legal Assistant, previous billing experience is a must and having the desire to work within an impressive boutique practice.
On a personal level, we are seeking someone who is energetic, outgoing and enjoys problem-solving. You must have the tenacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
