Overview

Ganaji Contracting currently has two active Oil & Gas projects in Karratha and is seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for immediate starts. This is genuine project work across both construction and commissioning environments on high standard facilities. It is not shutdown chasing and not suited to those learning Oil & Gas for the first time. We are looking for technicians who understand live process plants, respect structured systems and take pride in delivering quality E&I work. With multiple projects currently underway, Ganaji offers exposure across more than one active site.

You will be hands on across critical Oil & Gas systems, including:

* Instrument calibration, loop testing and fault finding
* Analyser, function and shutdown testing
* Control valve testing and commissioning
* Fire and Gas system testing and verification
* DCS and process logic integrity testing
* Reading P&IDs, loop drawings, data sheets and manuals
* Working with modern test and calibration equipment

This is structured E&I project work delivered to Oil & Gas standards.

What You'll Be Doing
* Instrument calibration, loop testing and fault finding

* Working with modern test and calibration equipment
What You'll Need
* Demonstrated Oil & Gas experience on live process plants
* WA Electrical Licence, Unrestricted or Restricted with Cert III Instrumentation (current and valid; processing time is 4 - 6 weeks)
* Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation with strong hands on experience
* Relevant trade qualification
* First Aid within 36 months
* CPR and LV Rescue within 12 months
* Construction Card, White or Blue
* Full Australian working rights
* Cert IV EEHA highly regarded

This role is suited to technicians who can step straight into construction and commissioning teams.

Project Details
* Location: Karratha, WA
* Two active Oil & Gas projects
* 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster
* 68 to 70 hours per week, project dependent
* 10 hour days Monday to Saturday
* 8 or 10 hour Sundays, project dependent
* FIFO from all Australian capital cities and territories
* Immediate start
* Long term projects, approx 9 months +
