The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and sourcing sales activity for Doma's national account base aligned with our Commercial business and strategic revenue plans. The BDM will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities at Doma's Hotel portfolio nationally, driving continual business and revenue into the group.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel sales position
- In depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
- Strong client management, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of Doma Hotel and the products and rate strategy
- Proactive approach to sourcing new business with an ability to develop strong relationships with customers and senior management.
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to adapt in certain situations and when dealing with different customers.
- Strong local market knowledge
- Good understanding of IT applications: Opera, BI tools, the Global Distribution System, and other hotel systems
