About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at The Club Beaudesert, a leading hospitality venue in Beaudesert, QLD. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This is a full-time position based in our Beaudesert location.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including rostering, menu planning, stock control, and budgeting
* Lead and mentor a team of talented chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
* Develop and implement innovative, high-quality menu items that showcase your culinary expertise
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
* Collaborate with the management team to align the culinary offering with the club's strategic objectives
* Monitor and continuously improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef
* Proven track record of successfully managing a kitchen team and operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of food trends and preparation techniques
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire your team
* Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
