Communications Technician - Boddington WA

We are chasing Communications technicians that have previous experience in Cisco and AVI systems.

About the role
- Maintain positive working relationships with a cross section of hardware and software support professionals, to deploy and support the Autonomous Solution.
- Install, calibrate, and commission machine systems.
- Install AVI radios and replace the current Cisco radios in mobile equipment.
- Work on Light Vehicles, Heavy equipment, Mobile radar trailers and Communication huts.
- Ensure setup of fleet management system is optimized to deliver maximum fleet efficiency and meet Mine Plan requirements.
- Undertake fault diagnosis and repairs on autonomous haulage systems.
What you will need to be successful in this role
- Trade qualifications or Hands on experience in communications, electronics, cabling
- Experience using Minestar
- Safety mindset and adhere to safety policies
- Able to read OEM Schematics
- Be well equipped to use normal auto electrical tools and that can work in small and confined areas of machines
- Forklift, EWP license (desirable)
- WAH (desirable)
- Valid Driver’s License (C-Class)
- Coachable attitude with an eager to learn
- High attention to detail with the interest to conduct installs and cabling systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
