Research Fellow in Coastal Restoration
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research in coastal restoration.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position available for 3 years.
* This role is part of the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences at CQUniversity Gladstone campus.
* The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification with expertise in seagrass ecological restoration or a similar coastal restoration specialization.
* A proven research track record with publications, conference presentations, and recognised professional achievements is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on strategically aligned research projects, secure external funding, and develop partnerships with industry leaders.
You will be responsible for conducting high-quality investigative research, analysing data, and preparing reports and publications. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to provide expert advice are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research on seagrass ecological restoration and related coastal restoration topics.
* Develop and implement research projects, securing external funding and collaborating with industry partners.
* Analyse data, prepare reports, and publish research findings in reputable journals.
* Engage with stakeholders, providing expert advice and building effective partnerships.
