Manager - restructuring & insolvency

Offer description

Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and non-statutory requirements across all engagements,
* Manage end-to-end delivery of engagements, from initial planning through to final reporting,
* Lead asset realisation programs to maximise returns for stakeholders,
* Build and maintain robust 3-way cash flow forecasts and trading models to support informed decision-making,
* Oversee day-to-day client operations, with occasional travel as required,
* Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing coaching and guidance to support their growth and ensure high-quality engagement delivery,
* Prepare and distribute accurate monthly financial reports, highlighting key performance metrics and trends,
* Perform in-depth variance analysis to compare actuals with budgets and forecasts, offering actionable insights on financial performance,
* Conduct ongoing cost analysis to identify areas for operational efficiency and improvement,
* Design, implement, and evaluate cost-saving initiatives to drive business value,
* Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through regular account reviews and reconciliations,
* Accurately prepare and post journal entries, ensuring thorough documentation and approval,
* Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation to enhance accounting operations,
* Leverage financial tools and systems to streamline and improve workflows,
* Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support throughout internal and external audit processes.
Key Skills:
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Restructuring and Insolvency,
* Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional accreditation,
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce,
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the agility to work effectively in dynamic and evolving environments,
* Commercially minded with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service,
* Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth,
* Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of managing teams to achieve high-quality outcomes,
* Passion for fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
