What you'll be doing
Make a real difference in the community as a physiotherapist with RACE/RACE-Extend, supporting independence, wellbeing, and recovery.
* Deliver hands-on, holistic physiotherapy across diverse client needs

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for best outcomes
* Mentor students and drive quality improvement initiatives
This is a temporary part time physiotherapy level 1-2 position primarily working in the community and assist cover the acute clinical areas of Geriatric Medicine as required. The work days are Monday to Thursday, 28.5 hours per week. This role suits people who are looking for work life balance. Essential Criteria:
* Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
* Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
* Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) and current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
* Demonstrated post-graduate experience in aged care physiotherapy and skills including physiotherapy assessment, care coordination, intervention and education with clients with complex needs.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team including case planning and review and demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
* Demonstrated effective and efficient time management and ability to plan and prioritise workload.
* Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including negotiation, advocacy, and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer and technology skills including the ability to understand and efficiently use emerging technologies (including electronic medical records, word processing and databases).
* Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, evidence based practice and commitment to continuous professional development.
