Calling all croissant specialists
Panna Artisan Bakery & Patisserie is seeking a full time Pastry Chef to work in our small, retail bakery in Palmyra, Perth. The role is responsible for production of scrolls and croissants and fillings, creams, custards etc. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in preparing, cutting, shaping and laminating croissant doughs specifically.
We are looking for a candidate who exhibits a collaborative approach to their work, is a team player and has a good eye for detail. Creative flair, problem solving skills and commitment to quality is essential.
At Panna we specialise in gluten free products, including artisan sourdough and yeasted breads, various scrolls, croissants, cakes, biscuits etc. Everything is made from scratch with quality ingredients and our team members are supported with full training in gluten free flours, techniques and understanding of issues with gluten free baking. You will need to be a good learner and be willing to receive feedback and seek improvements. At Panna we reward and recognise innovation, integrity and a strong work ethic. Shifts from 5am to 1pm Tuesday to Friday and 3am starts Saturday. Pastry Chefs will report to the Head Pastry Chef.
This job commences in mid January 2026 and will have a 2 week hand over period with the exiting Pastry Chef.
