About the Role
This exciting role & opportunity exists at Australia's largest small stock processing plant located in Tamworth, Australia's country music capital & the heart of the New England. Where you'll work and lead a diverse team who align with our values & are passionate and empowered to perform at pace & achieve big things.
This pivotal role of a Reliability Leader would be a perfect fit for someone who is hands-on in their ability to ensure the reliability & availability of equipment, assets within the site. In managing the maintenance team of 8 & coordinating maintenance efforts. Ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, machinery during a specific shift or period.
* 125-130k + 12% Superannuation
* Work Life Balance Rotating Roster 5:4 - 4:5
* 12hr shifts - 6am - 6pm Start/ Finish
* 5 Weeks Annual Leave
* 14 Personal Leave Days
The Quality Ingredients for Success
Just like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities that we need & look for in this role:
* Supervising maintenance activities: oversee day-to-day maintenance operations. Coordinating maintenance schedules to optimizing equipment uptime & disruption to production.
* Inspect & troubleshooting: perform routine inspections of equipment & facilities to identify issues or maintenance requirements. Root Cause Analysis investigating for equipment failures or significant reliability issues.
* Prioritizing & assigning work orders: Review work orders & requests determine by priority on equipment criticality, safety & production needs.
* Managing maintenance team: Provide leadership & guidance to the maintenance team during their shift.
* Continuous improvement: identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, enhance equipment reliability, & reduce downtime.
* Maintenance & safety compliance systems & documentation are actioned.
Experience & Qualifications
* Mechanical/Electrical Trade minimum
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supervisory role or similar
* Budgeting & cost control
* Exposure to maintenance planning system using Mex or similar system/s.
