We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Quality Management System (QMS) Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team based in Dandenong. Reporting to Senior Management, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the Quality Management System across four Southern Steel Group companies, ensuring compliance, consistency, and ongoing excellence in our operations.
This role will suit someone who is eager to learn and looking to take the next step in their career. Prior experience is not essential; however, you must be driven, motivated, and willing to learn, with a strong desire to develop your skills within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and control QMS documentation, including procedures, policies, work instructions, and records
* Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, issued, and archived in accordance with document control procedures
* Support internal and external audits, including preparation, coordination, and follow-up activities
* Track and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and nonconformities
* Support change management activities related to processes and documentation
* Coordinate and maintain training records related to QMS requirements
* Monitor quality metrics and prepare reports for management review
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience working with a Quality Management System (ISO 9001) preferred but not essential
* Attention to detail
* Experience with document control and audit support preferred but not essential
* Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
