We're looking for a highly skilled and professional Bookkeeper to join our growing Accounting firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and confident in managing relationships, with strong expertise in Xero and payroll.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, providing accurate, timely, and reliable bookkeeping services. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential.
You will be working collaboratively within a supportive team environment alongside our Bookkeeping Manager and Intermediate Bookkeeper, ensuring high-quality service delivery across our client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
* Processing and reconciling accounts using Xero
* Handling payroll processing, including STP, superannuation, and compliance requirements
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Liaising directly with clients to provide support and advice
* Assisting with Xero set ups
* Ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all financial records
About You
* Qualified Bookkeeper (Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent experience)
* Xero specialist with strong hands-on experience
* Proven experience in payroll processing and compliance
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts
* Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
