Join the YEM Technology Team - AC / Refrigeration Technician
YEM Technology is seeking an experienced AC / Refrigeration Technician to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100 km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.
This is a FIFO role from Perth, supporting site-based facilities and operational infrastructure.

About the Role
As an AC / Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across site facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preventative and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
* Servicing split systems, ducted systems and packaged units
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
* Completing maintenance reports and documentation
* Working independently and as part of a broader maintenance team
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Cert III)
* Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Demonstrated experience in mining, remote, or heavy industry environments (preferred)
* Sound safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
