The opportunities
Indigo Early Learning Centre in Woombye, QLD are seeking passionate individuals with an Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) and Certificate III qualification to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a vital part in providing high-quality childcare and early learning experiences for the children in our care.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
* Observe and document each child's progress, interests and developmental needs
* Provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
* Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support each child's learning and wellbeing
* Maintain accurate records, portfolios and documentation as required by regulatory authorities
* Actively participate in team meetings, training and professional development opportunities
* Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) qualification - Part-time job share role- Days/Shifts are: Monday: 9:30-2:30pm, Tuesday: 7:30-4pm and Wednesday: 7:30-4pm.
* Certificate III Educators
* Demonstrated experience working in a similar early learning or childcare environment
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Creativity, flexibility and a genuine passion for early childhood education
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certifications
* Working With Children Check
