Electrician
* Mon - Fri 38hr week - supporting high profile Defence and commercial sites

THE POSITION
You will report to the Electrical Supervisor and take ownership of electrical maintenance across Defence sites.
Responsibilities include:
* Keeping the lights on across Defence assets through planned preventative maintenance
* Taking on reactive and corrective maintenance and resolving issues efficiently
* Ensuring continuity of essential building and engineering services
* Conducting inspections, classifications, fault finding, repairs and planned works
* Working collaboratively with staff and subcontractors to meet operational delivery requirements
* Actively supporting continuous improvement and contributing to safety performance on site
THE PERSON
* Full Australian working rights
* Current NT Electrical Licence
* Current Low Voltage Rescue and CPR
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or within a small team
* Reliable, flexible, safety-focused and hardworking
* Physically fit and able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
* Local to Darwin
