REGISTERED NURSE- GENERAL PRACTICE - FULL TIME
IWC has an exciting opportunity to work within the Medical Centre as a Full-Time Registered Nurse with a two-week rotation to Gayndah IWC Medical Centre every month.

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care utilizing clinical skills, education, and support to GPs, patients/clients, other nursing staff, and Indigenous Health Workers to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care to the Gayndah community.
DUTIES:
Plan, evaluate, and coordinate health and nursing care in consultation with the multidisciplinary health care team.
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all staff, stakeholders, and community members.
Rotation to Gayndah IWC Medical Centre for two weeks every month.
Have sound and well-established primary health care skills.
Provide mentoring to other Health Workers (within the delegated scope of practice).
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Nursing.
A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.
AFirst Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
Currently Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions in place.
SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -
Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take home pay (available after completion of probation).
Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).
Meal Allowances while away.
Potential use of company vehicle for drive-in drive-out.
Free accommodation while working away.
Superannuation valued at 11.5%.
Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%.
