Job Description:
* Build Strategic Partnerships at Multiple Levels and Foster Long-term Relationships with Ubuntu Technology.
* Develop a Deep Understanding of Linux and Cloud Software Ecosystems and Open-source Selling Models.
* Negotiate Commercial Agreements and Business Terms.
* Gain Insight into Partner Organizations and Sales Models, Particularly with Global System Integrators.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to Achieve Targets and Objectives, Providing a Voice for the Partner.
* Lead Executive Interlocks between Partners and Our Leadership Team.
Requirements:
* Extensive Experience in Alliance or Indirect Sales Management Roles.
* Strong Knowledge of OpenStack, Virtualization, Containers, and other Cloud Technologies.
* A Self-motivated, Disciplined, Hands-on Professional with a Get-it-done Mentality.
* Ability to Identify Customer Requirements, Evaluate Gaps, and Create Opportunities.
* Passion for Ubuntu Products and Mission.
* Comfortable Working in Fast-paced and High-pressure Environments with Ambitious Achievement Goals.
