Vanta is a platform that empowers businesses to establish trust by providing security monitoring and verification services. As a Senior Account Executive, Upmarket, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the company's presence in mid-market and enterprise segments.
The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of experience in selling B2B SaaS solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets. They must also have strong skills in prospecting, outbound pipeline generation, and new logo acquisition.
This role requires effective communication skills, a commanding executive presence, and the ability to build and manage C-level relationships. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in managing complex deals and sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* Identify promising prospects and develop targeted sales strategies
* Prioritize a portfolio of prospects and devise account plans
* Develop effective outbound activities to build a robust sales pipeline and ensure adequate coverage
* Establish valuable connections with senior executives and decision-makers within the CISO department
* Provide customers with education and guidance on the value of Vanta's offerings
* Develop business justification cases with prospects to secure budget for Vanta's solutions
* Accurately forecast performance against sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis
* Collaborate with product management teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps
* Partner closely with various resources throughout the sales process
