Field Service Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to field sites, preparing and maintaining work packages, and ensuring the availability of HSE, quality plans, and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and advice to field sites
* Prepare and maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods, and documentation for the installation teams at the job site
* Proactively anticipate risks and opportunities and raise them to the Project Team
* Maintain the Field Service schedule and coordinate dates with the Project Team and customer
* Prepare specifications, technical procedures, and work descriptions for installation subcontractors and evaluate installation bids/offers
* Facilitate clarifications with customers
* Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations
* Ensure the availability of HSE, quality plans, and documents
* Develop and ensure the availability of project-specific procedures and safety assessments
* Determine site layouts, tooling/fixtures, and site infrastructure requirements
* Monitor target achievement regarding quality, schedule, costs, and support corrective actions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* Experience and technical understanding of turbines, generators, and balance of plant equipment
* Project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling experience
* Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Fully computer literate with MS Office, SAP, and Primavera P6 knowledge
* Competencies in AutoCAD, Solid Edge software, or equivalent are desirable
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial due to the international team setup
* Team player with strong leadership and project management skills
