About Our Client
Our client is a leading food manufacturer operating a modern, automated production facility in Adelaide. Due to a major plant upgrade, they are seeking experienced Trade Qualified Electricians to assist with the commissioning of a new self-running production plant.
About The Role
This is a local commissioning role focused on bringing a newly installed automated plant online. You will be working alongside engineers, programmers, and mechanical teams to test, fault find, and commission electrical and control systems within a food manufacturing environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Installation and termination of multicore control cabling and motor cabling
Wiring and integration into PLC and control systems
Installation of electric motors and instrumentation
Testing and commissioning of plant equipment
Completing digital ITRs and FTRs
Fault finding and rectification during plant start-up
Working collaboratively with mechanical and commissioning crews
Ensuring all work complies with food-grade and safety standards
Skills / Qualifications (Mandatory)
Trade Qualified Electrician
Current LV/CPR (within 12 months)
Construction White Card
EWP (above 11 metres)
Working at Heights (within 5 years)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Competent in testing, commissioning, and fault finding
Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
Highly Regarded
Experience commissioning automated or self-running plants
Experience in food or FMCG manufacturing facilities
Understanding of PLC-controlled systems
Experience working within strict hygiene and quality-controlled environments
