Change Manager (fixed term opportunities)
**2-year & 1-year fixed term contract opportunities available, with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.**
**The role**
As a Change Manager at APRA, you will join a central change management team providing change management services and support for the portfolio of projects and initiatives across APRA.
Projects are varied and range from business projects with the financial services entities APRA regulates through to internal projects to improve capabilities within APRA.
**The team**
The Change Management team is part of the Project and Portfolio Management team in the Chief of Staff and Enterprises Services division which provides a range of services and support to the rest of APRA. The Change team works closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and the business to deliver value to the organisation.
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the change management components of plans, including:
- Change impact assessment, working with the business to assess and validate change impacts and readiness
- Change strategy and approach
- Communications planning and execution
- Learning planning and execution
- Transition to BAU
- Identify change risks and mitigate these
- Assess capability uplift required across the impacted teams and conduct learning needs analyses for impacted stakeholders, including the approach and roadmap for delivery of effective training materials/tools and encompassing logistics and delivery
- Work with the internal communications teams to develop communications plans that align with APRA's overall strategic direction and broader APRA communications activities
- Monitor success to mitigate change impacts and support effective adoption and transition to BAU
**About you**
- Substantial experience leading delivery of end-to-end change management (with practical experience in planning and delivering change) on large programs of work, in a large complex environment, preferably in financial services regulatory projects
- Demonstrated facilitation skills and ability to lead large forums with complex stakeholder groups
- The ability to drive transformational organisational change and lead the process for embedding sustainable change
- Pro-active with a positive 'can do' attitude and strong motivation to drive the delivery of high-quality change work
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the business
