We’re expanding our Telehealth services and have created several Clinical Operations Lead roles to support and develop our Triage Nurses and General Practitioners (GPs). These teams provide clinical advice, and determine the right level of care for over a million callers each year. As a Clinical Operations Lead, you’ll play a critical role in guiding a team of frontline clinicians, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery in a dynamic, omni-channel contact centre environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading a team of ~ 25 Telehealth Triage Nurses and GPs, supporting their performance through coaching, auditing, and proactive supervision
- Driving a culture of clinical excellence, customer focus, and operational efficiency
- Ensuring safe and effective service delivery across multiple channels using advanced technology platforms
- Optimising workforce utilisation to deliver maximum benefit for patients, clients, and the organisation
- Collaborating with the wider leadership team to improve key performance metrics and create a positive, learning-focused environment
This is a 0.9-1.0 FTE permanent position, working from home. Our services operate 24/7, and most of your roster will cover evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Approximately 65% of your hours will be out of standard business hours. During the recruitment process, we’ll work with you to understand your availability and preferences and aim to create a roster that suits you while meeting business needs. Start and finish times can be staggered to provide additional flexibility.
Why You’ll Be Perfect for This Role
You’ll thrive in this position if you:
- Are a Registered Nurse (with AHPRA registration) and bring at least 5+ years of clinical experience in areas such as Emergency, Paediatrics, Community Care, or Acute Medical/Surgical
- Have a proven ability to lead and inspire clinical teams, driving performance and professional growth
- Understand the dynamics of contact centre operations, including KPIs, reporting, and workforce management
- Are confident using virtual collaboration tools like video conferencing, instant messaging, and shared platforms
- Bring a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and clinical excellence
