The Boomi Integration developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering API and event-driven integrations across cloud-based and on-premises applications and systems. This role demands strong expertise in Boomi and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies.
This role is responsible for building scalable and efficient integration solutions using Boomi, while actively collaborating within Agile teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes shaping requirements, designing solutions, developing and testing code, deploying applications, and providing post-deployment support during the hypercare phase. A key focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs that align with both business objectives and technical requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
* Integration Design: Develop integration frameworks and solutions based on shaped user stories and business requirements.
* Implementation: Build and deploy integrations using Boomi, ensuring alignment with functional and technical specifications.
* Best Practices Adherence: Follow industry best practices with a focus on modularity, security, and reusability in integration development.
* Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
* Deployment Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate production deployments, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
* Approximately 10 years of experience in the Integration domain.
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Boomi technology.
* Proficient in Boomi Gateway and API Management.
* Strong understanding of OAuth-based authorization and security protocols.
* Experience implementing event-driven architectures using messaging platforms such as Solace, AWS EventBridge, SQS, etc.
* Background in system migrations, preferably involving Oracle ERP and SAP.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders, squads, and vendors.
