Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain, service and repair our pioneering reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within Tasmania. This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
* Reporting on service assignments and faults
* Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
* Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
This role requires strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment. Experience with operating systems, installing software, networking and mobile telecommunications is also necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An Electrical / Electronic Trade Certificate III or Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate or Appliance/Mechanical Trade background or Comparable experience on electrical/mechanical equipment
* Previous experience interacting face-to-face with customers
* Very strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities
* Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
