Senior Maintenance Electrician – $68/hr + Super | FMCG | Permanent Day Shift

Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

About the Role An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business located in Horsley Park. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate of $68/hour, working Monday to Friday on a day shift – no nights or rotating rosters!
You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* As a Maintenance Electrician you will perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
* This Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley).
* The Maintenance Electrician will lead and respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
* The Maintenance Electrician will carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
* As the Maintenance Electrician you will support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* This Maintenance Electrician will ensure all work complies with WHS and electrical safety standards.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve overall plant reliability and performance.
About You
* NSW Electrical License (Essential).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or FMCG manufacturing environment.
* Strong fault-finding skills and experience with automated systems.
* Solid understanding of electrical safety and compliance requirements.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Experience using a CMMS (preferred but not essential).
* Full Australian working rights.
