Civmec – Boilermaker (Full Time)

Key Responsibilities
* Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.
* Mark out steel components in accordance with drawings, specifications and standards.
* Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components as specified.
* Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components with correct dimensions, edge preparations, weld preparations, weld gaps and tolerances indicated in drawings.
* Fit required lifting lugs, bracing and supports to ensure integrity of steel components when moving or rotating with gantry cranes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade certificate in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication or Platework.
* Heavy fabrication workshop experience.
* Working at heights and confined space ticket required – EWP advantageous.
* Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience with similar structures, specifications and standards.
* Experience in plate work and structural fabrication.
