Join our established and growing business as a Night Shift Forklift Operator at our Cairns depot. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for moving our freight with a focus on safely loading and unloading tautliners. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with proven experience in transport or forklift operation, working in a professional environment and loading multiple trailers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Full Time Permanent | Wednesday to Sunday | 12AM start
* Efficiently and safely load general freight from body trucks and trailers
* Ensure trailers are maximised for linehaul transportation
* Follow a postcode sheet to place unloaded freight into the correct bays
* Maintain a steady work pace to meet departure times and maintain accuracy
* Adhere to established safety standards and guidelines

Qualifications
What You Need:
* Previous experience in a similar, fast-paced role
* Ability to maximise trailers to full utilisation
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a postcode sheet for correct freight placement
* Ability to pass a criminal history check
