Where you'll be working Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Service, located in the Community Health Centre on the Royal North Shore Campus What You'll Be Doing To manage and direct the delivery of the district wide PARVAN Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Service and the centralised PARVAN intake and triage service. The role is responsible for the clinical and operational management of the DFV and RMER teams to ensure high quality integrated psychosocial and medical service delivery to a vulnerable priority population. The role includes provision of specialist clinical leadership, line management, supervision and support to the PARVAN DFV Clinicians and the RMER Coordinators along with provision of direct clinical services. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with evidence of extensive clinical experience in a hospital or health related field as a practising Social Worker at Level 2 or above. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with the Psychology Board and is endorsed in their area of practice with no less than 12 months service at the 9th year of service as a Psychologist. Demonstrated experience in the management and clinical leadership of a counselling service for victim survivors of domestic and family violence or experience managing another trauma/ complex trauma related team and/ or service. Demonstrated experience, commitment to and an ability to lead quality improvement initiatives, review and evaluate models of care and identify opportunities for and undertake research. Advanced clinical knowledge and extensive experience working with victim survivors of domestic and family violence, sexual assault and child abuse and neglect including assessment, counselling, and case management. Demonstrated high level of understanding of the dynamics, ongoing risks and psychosocial and medicolegal issues associated with domestic and family violence including expertise in the relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
