Job Overview
The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in driving sales, meeting targets, and exceeding customer expectations. You will work closely with your Store Manager to implement operational excellence, manage stock control, and create visually appealing store displays.
You will also be responsible for leading by example, motivating your team, and inspiring them to achieve their best. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
Responsibilities
* Drive sales and meet targets through effective product knowledge, visual merchandising, and customer engagement
* Manage stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize floor space
* Lead and motivate your team to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, goals, and initiatives
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC
* A motivated and driven attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring others
* Proven track record of driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets
* Operational excellence, with experience in stock control and visual merchandising
