Our Team
Thales offers a range of solutions to provide dynamic Air Traffic Services. We're working closely with Airservices Australia and Defence to deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia.
Your Role
You will be part of a team working on a first-of-its-kind air traffic management project based at Tullamarine airport and Melbourne office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land.
We're looking for a recent graduate with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance in software engineering to join our team as a Graduate Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Verifying the impact of System Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and defining test procedures
* Carrying out verification and performance tests during partial integration testing
* Carrying out validation tests during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
* Tracking and validating Problem Change Reports (PCRs) corrective actions
* Recording test results and preparing reports
* Reporting test results
Your Experience
* Engineering and/or Science degree (Computer, Engineering, Aerospace)
* Air Traffic Management domain knowledge and Operational Concept understanding
* Clear understanding of Verification & Validation processes
* Experience in software development life cycle including processes and responsibilities
* Excellent communication skills including written and verbal English skills
* Knowledge in Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows), JIRA & Confluence
