The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to be accountable for the provision of administrative support to the Property and Legal area for activities associated with the property portfolio, and specifically responsible for the maintenance of registers and development of documents.
As a Property and Legal Services Officer, you will assist with the administration of all aspects of the property lease and licence process for Council owned and managed land and buildings.
You will arrange valuations, surveys, development applications and subdivision certificates in relation to BVSC property and develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, in particular Crown Lands.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma-level qualification in a business-related field, or willing to work towards the same, and a Native Title Manager qualification.
You will have the following skills and experience:
Understanding and ability to interpret legislation, particularly relevant provisions within the Local Government Act/Regulation and Crown Land Management Act/Regulation.
Understanding of local government operations and the implications of these activities to the use and management of Council owned and managed land.
Knowledge of Property/Real Estate systems in NSW and the application of legislation and guidelines.
Three (3) years' work experience in a relevant related field (indicative).

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $91,****** gross per annum, comprising of:
$1,****** per week base salary
$****** per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
