Advanced Nursing Role Overview
The Women's and Children's Health Network is seeking a skilled nurse practitioner to join our Paediatric Medicine team at the Child and Adolescent Virtual Urgent Care Service in North Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical management of patients in See & Treat/Ace PED or via CAVUCS telehealth.
* Initiate interventions, prescribe medications, use clinical equipment, and manage patient admission and discharge.
* Supervise Nurse Practitioner Candidates and support development through education and mentorship.
* Apply research evidence and clinical expertise to support advanced decision-making and innovation.
Requirements:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with the notation of Nurse Practitioner.
* Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 5 years post-registration experience.
* Demonstrated advanced level of nursing practice in the care and management of Emergency Nursing.
