The successful candidate will educate and support nurses, GPs, and primary healthcare professionals by raising awareness and training on specific therapeutic areas and chronic disease states.
You will also have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across various healthcare and pharmacy settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with GPs, practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
* Deliver education on disease states and therapeutic areas to primary care providers.
* Conduct patient searches for audits, monitor clinical outcomes, and support GP professional development.
* Facilitate group presentations and one-on-one clinical education sessions.
* Provide education and support for acute and chronic disease management.
* Comply with relevant clinical standards, risk management procedures, and documentation practices.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) with demonstrated clinical experience.
* Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and therapeutic areas.
* Previous experience in a patient-facing education or primary care role highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work autonomously across a defined territory.
* Comfortable with travel and managing a varied schedule.
* Confident in administering vaccinations and IV therapy.
* High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills.
* Comfortable using digital booking platforms and telehealth technologies.
