**APS 4 - Senior Library Officer, Special Collections**:

The Library is seeking to fill a ongoing **Senior Library Officer, Special Collections (APS4)** role in the Reader Services Section of the Engagement Branch, commencing in April 2025.
In this role you are responsible for providing expertise and support for the Library's reference and client services, with a particular focus on special collections, particularly manuscripts, maps, pictorial materials and oral history collections.
Day to day work will include:
- Undertaking tasks that support the operation of:
- the Library's Reading Rooms (face to face); and
- online and phone reference channels.
- Supporting staff in developing knowledge of special collections research and resources.
- Monitoring service activity.
- Undertaking Reporting activities.
**The role includes regular weekend work undertaken during the Library's advertised reading room opening hours and will be undertaken entirely on site.
