The opportunity
Bellevue Hill Family Pharmacy, a well-established and reputable community pharmacy, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager or Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this fulltime role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful operations and growth of our pharmacy, located in the vibrant suburb of Bellevue Hill, NSW 2023.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service
2. Supervise and support a team of pharmacy assistants, providing training, mentoring, and performance feedback
3. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and promote the pharmacy's services
4. Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, policies, and procedures
5. Collaborate with the pharmacist to provide high-quality, personalised care to patients
6. Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering processes to maintain optimal levels of supplies
7. Actively participate in career development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a senior pharmacy assistant or retail management role within a community pharmacy setting
2. Excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to provide personalised, high-quality care to patients
3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
4. Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes
5. Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, policies, and procedures
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the pharmacist and other team members
7. A passion for the pharmacy industry and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
8. Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
