About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Manager to join the team full time at our Support Office on St Kilda Rd. Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, this role is responsible for understanding the target market and assisting the Product Manager with designing and selecting commercial product consistent with seasonal trends and direction within the Accessories category.
Responsibilities
* Manage the development process including appropriate selection of fabric, trims, blocks and colour
* Develop buying plans which engage our customer
* Execute the category plan demonstrating a strong commercial focus, team lead-ership and management of KPIs
* Build and maintain strong, effective and collaborative relationships across the Jay Jay team
* Establish, develop and maintain effective supplier relationships
Skills & Experience
* Buying and product development experience
* Experience in licensing product and a keen interest in pop culture
* Highly developed analytical and lateral thinking skills
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* You are confident in understanding budgets and margin calculations
* Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
