Store Operations Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Assistant to support our Defence support role. If you have experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, or customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role
This full-time position is based in Cairns and supports all three Defence services: Navy, Army, and Air Force, under a national contract. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our stores.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Receive, check, and acquit stores under supervision
2. Pack stock and prepare it for despatch
3. Assist customers with kit issues
4. Inspect and accept returned items
5. Perform manual handling using various methods
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Defence background or knowledge of Navy operations
* Experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, or customer service
* A valid Driver's Licence and own transport
* Strong computer proficiency
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
* Ability to work effectively in a team and customer-focused environment
