AO5/1 Superintendent's Representative
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Superintendent's Representative to oversee the administration and delivery of construction and engineering contracts. Acting on behalf of the Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled, project risks are effectively managed, and works are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards and legislative obligations.
Working closely with contractors, consultants, clients and project teams, you will provide contract supervision, site oversight and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers exposure to complex and high-profile projects while allowing you to make a direct contribution to successful project outcomes.

About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Act as the Superintendent's Representative for construction and engineering contracts
* Administer contracts from award through to practical completion and final certification
* Undertake regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance
* Facilitate and coordinate contractor and project meetings
* Assess and process contract variations, extensions of time and contractual claimsManage Requests for Information (RFIs) and contract correspondence
* Provide advice and support regarding contract administration and dispute resolution processes
* Ensure Building Act compliance inspections are undertaken and documented
* Implement contract administration policies, procedures and quality assurance systems
* Communicate project risks and issues relating to cost, time and quality to stakeholders
About You
You are an experienced construction or engineering professional with a strong understanding of contract administration and project delivery. You can confidently interpret contractual requirements, engage with stakeholders and provide fair, impartial and commercially sound contract management advice.
* Experience acting as a Superintendent's Representative, Contract Administrator or Contract Superintendent on construction projects
* Strong knowledge of construction and engineering contracts
* Experience managing variations, claims and contractual compliance requirements
* Ability to undertake site inspections and monitor contractor performance
* Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Sound understanding of contract administration principles and dispute resolution processes
* Current Driver's Licence
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Building, Project Management or a related discipline
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systems
* Experience working within Government or major infrastructure environments will be highly regarded
