The Opportunity Sharp & Carter are partnering with a leading professional services firm to recruit an Accounts Officer on a permanent full-time basis. This role sits within a close-knit, collaborative finance team and offers guidance from executive finance leaders. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and promptly resolve any discrepancies; Process all financial transactions, including transfers, receipts, payments, refunds, unclaimed funds, and dormant balances. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage the opening, closing, and reconciliation of investment accounts. Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger postings. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Monitor and report on cash flow, ensuring timely payments and receipts. Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to resolve accounting queries. Contribute to team projects and support a collaborative and learning-focused finance environment. Skills & Experience Experience in accounting in a professional services environment Strong skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
