About the role
We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to be part of our Southern Region Office team. The Finance Manager provides analytical, accounting and financial system support to the command/business unit and coordinates the finance function in order to meet business objectives, focusing on best practice, quality assurance, standardised reporting while ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and procedures and appropriate exercise of financial delegations.
This position forms an integral part of the Business Management Team within the Southern Region Office and plays a vital role in providing support and guidance to the District Commanders and Managers.
• Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearances for this position.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, accounting or equivalent industry experience.
• Membership with a professional accounting body (e.g. Institute of Chartered Accountants, Certified Practising Accountant, Institute of Public Accountants or equivalent.
