About the role
We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our growing team at Mega Meats Booval' in Booval, Queensland. This full-time role will see you working as part of a talented team to provide high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of fresh meat products to meet customer orders and stock requirements
2. Providing excellent customer service, offering advice and recommendations to customers
3. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment
4. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
5. Assisting with inventory management and stock control
6. Collaborating with the team to implement best practices and improve efficiency
What we're looking for
1. Formal butchery qualification or equivalent industry experience
2. Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety practices
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide product recommendations
