About EMESRT: The Earth Moving Equipment Safety Round Table (EMESRT) is a global 'safety by design' initiative established by mining companies to bridge the gap between earth moving equipment users and designers regarding functional performance expectations.
Formed in 2006, EMESRT is a worldwide initiative involving major mining companies, serving as the 'voice' of the industry. It collaborates with Original Equipment Manufacturers to enhance equipment design and processes, aiming to improve safety, operability, and maintainability beyond current standards. Position overview: EMESRT seeks a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to provide secretariat and program management support. This role ensures smooth operation of initiatives, project management, stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, and website and social media management.
Key responsibilities: Manage the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Develop and oversee the budget for EMESRT activities, ensuring effective resource allocation. Support project leads with coordination, guidance, and development of presentation materials. Provide administrative support, including scheduling workshops, meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes. Maintain and update the EMESRT website to ensure current and informative content. Create and publish content on LinkedIn to promote activities and engage stakeholders. Manage relationships with global stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration. Oversee Microsoft 365 accounts, especially OneDrive, for record-keeping. Minimum of 5 years' experience in program or project management. Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse, global audiences. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Skills in website maintenance and social media management, particularly LinkedIn. Experience in budget monitoring, invoice processing, and managing financial aspects like memberships and trademarks.
