Key Role: Site Operations Manager
The primary function is to oversee site operations for commercial and residential projects in the SEQ region. Working closely with the Construction Manager, you will lead day-to-day site activities ensuring timely project delivery, high safety standards, and exceptional quality.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Manage site-based activities across multiple projects
* Supervise subcontractors, trades, and internal teams to drive project outcomes
* Collaborate in project planning, programming, and delivery processes
* Prepare and review tenders, quotations, trade packages, and construction programs
* Provide accurate estimations and contribute to cost control measures
* Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes
* Oversee Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices, including audits, inspections, and equipment checks
* Ensure risk assessments and safe work method statements are in place at all times
* Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and safety on-site
Requirements:
* Construction industry background
* Current WHS General Safety Induction Card
* Proven supervisory experience on commercial projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and compliance regulations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar software
* Formal trade or construction qualifications
* Excellent computer and reporting skills
