The Opportunity
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time or Part Time appointments of up to 12 months, with the possibility for extension(s), commencing in 2026. We are seeking applicants for Regional Pharmacist positions who are interested in developing their hospital pharmacy skills in country WA.
Applicants filling these positions have the potential to enrol in the Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha, formerly The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia) Resident Training Program, dependent on the capacity to provide support for the program at each site. The Resident Training Program is an accredited 2-year training program aimed at pharmacists who are early in their career in the hospital sector or with experience in a different practice setting who are transitioning into a hospital pharmacy practice. Position locations
There are P1 Pharmacist positions based at the following locations – Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, Port Hedland/Karratha, Kalgoorlie and Northam/ Narrogin. Offers of positions at the various sites will depend on vacancies at the time.
Accommodation support may be available for pharmacists in some locations.

Early career pharmacists and pharmacists who do not yet have experience in hospital pharmacy are welcome to apply, including pharmacists who are currently provisionally registered with Ahpra who are expecting to reach general registration in early 2026. A contract of employment may only be offered once evidence of general registration with Ahpra is provided.
